ATRIUM has acted as financial advisor to the shareholder of Knudsen Koling regarding the sale to Italy-based Epta.
ATRIUM has acted as financial advisor to the shareholder of Knudsen Koling regarding the sale to Italy-based Epta.
Knudsen Koling designs, develops and manufactures refrigerated counters for commercial application – in particular for the grocery sector. The customers comprise leading super market and discount chains in Denmark.
Knudsen Koling is industry leading within eco-friendly solutions, as the products offered apply CO2 as replacement for traditional refrigerants.
With the takeover of Knudsen Koling, Epta will significantly strengthen its market position in Scandinavia. At the same time Epta will get access to the technological expertise of Knudsen Koling.
The dialogue between the parties was initiated through the international network of ATRIUM, ADVIOR International. ATRIUM advised the shareholder of Knudsen Koling, while Epta was advised by the Italian MidCap member Caretti & Associati.
