ATRIUM acted as exclusive financial advisor to KN Helicopters in the sale to Avincis, a portfolio company of infrastructure fund Ancala.

KN Helicopters has been delivering helicopter services to the offshore wind sector since 2016. Having secured contracts with wind farm owners and operators such as Vattenfall and Siemens, the company has become a leading provider of heli-services to the offshore wind industry.

Avincis is one of the world's leading emergency aerial service operators with a fleet of approx. 165 helicopters and 40 aeroplanes. Avincis operates from more than 180 bases spread over three continents from its headquarters in Portugal. The acquisition was funded by Ancala, a leading infrastructure manager, who invested in Avincis in 2023.

Through the investment, Avincis enters the Danish market, while strengthening its position in the offshore wind industry.
