ATRIUM acted as exclusive financial advisor to the owners of Sparinvest Property Investors ("SPI") in the sale of the company. PATRIZIA Immobilien ("PATRIZIA") has acquired SPI.

Established in 2005 by three founding partners in cooperation with Sparinvest Holdings, SPI is a real estate investment manager based in Denmark focused on international real estate investments within the small and mid-cap segment. SPI manages four global private equity real estate funds based on a proven manager-picking strategy and aggregated equity commitments of EUR 1.5 billion primarily from institutional investors.
PATRIZIA is a leading European real estate investment firm with assets under management amounting to EUR 20 billion. The company is headquartered in Augsburg and has 700 employees spread across offices in the European core markets including Denmark. PATRIZIA is listed in Frankfurt with a market capitalization of EUR 1.5 billion.
With the acquisition of SPI, PATRIZIA will further extend its product range with a new global real estate product that can be offered to its German, European and Asian institutional investor base, as well as access to a sought-after institutional client base in Denmark. SPI will become the new global multi-manager division of PATRIZIA based out of Copenhagen and get a new strong owner with a strategic focus on real estate.
