Skamol is a globally oriented niche company that develops, produces and markets materials for high temperature insulation. The products are also used for fireplaces and stoves in private homes. Skamol also develops and markets products for fire protection.
Skamol has production facilities on Mors, Fur and in Salling and abroad in France and Canada. Raw materials are extracted on Fur and Mors. The company reported revenues of approx. DKK 260 m in 2006. It was the ambition of Polaris Private Equity to continue the organic growth strategy that Skamol had successfully pursued during recent years, while also reinforcing growth through acquisitions.
ATRIUM worked as exclusive financial advisor to Auriga Industries and facilitated a successful divestment through a controlled auction directed at industrial and financial buyers alike.
